Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, neurotech, AI governance)
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic technologies into commercial offerings
- Author thought leadership reports on tech's societal impact and regulatory implications
- Build strategic alliances with academic institutions and government tech councils
- Mentor junior futurists and conduct innovation workshops across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (demonstrable publications preferred)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management a plus
