Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential through 2030
- Develop and present 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Conduct scenario planning for quantum computing, AI governance, and climate tech adoption
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive cross-functional alignment on technology priorities and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with documented impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong presentation skills with experience at executive/board level
- Deep understanding of technology commercialization and market adoption cycles
