Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) through 2028
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats
- Partner with product teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic frameworks to executive leadership and investor boards
- Build and mentor a cross-functional innovation taskforce
- Conduct market simulations and scenario planning for technology adoption curves
- Drive patent strategy and IP portfolio development for emerging domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, product development, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in forecasting technology adoption (e.g., AI, blockchain)
- Expertise in scenario planning and market simulation methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in tech-driven environments
- Strong background in innovation frameworks (e.g., Blue Ocean Strategy, Lean Startup)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future trends (articles, patents, or conference talks)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive analytics
