Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee development of 2026-focused tech prototypes in AI, quantum, and sustainability domains
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and strategists through full innovation lifecycle
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for proprietary innovations
- Present tech roadmaps to C-suite and board members for investment decisions
- Mentor junior talent through innovation sprints and hackathons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record launching commercialized tech products in AI/quantum/sustainability
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains with published research
- Experience securing $1M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Strong portfolio of patents or scalable prototypes
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex concepts to stakeholders
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CDIO, PDMA)
