Responsibilities
- Architect and lead R&D initiatives for 2026-era technologies (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, carbon-negative systems)
- Direct cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and futurists
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate them into actionable roadmaps
- Secure and manage cutting-edge research partnerships with academia and industry
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints with rapid prototyping and MVP validation
- Develop patentable IP in next-gen computational paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or decentralized AI
- Experience managing $5M+ research budgets and international teams
- Published work in top-tier tech journals or conference proceedings
- Proficiency in future-backward planning methodologies
