Nexus Future Systems is seeking a highly strategic Future Tech Architect to define the roadmap that will shape our next generation of products. In this role, you will analyze emerging trends, evaluate disruptive technologies, and translate future capabilities into actionable development strategies. You will work closely with our C-suite and engineering teams to ensure we are not just preparing for the future, but actively inventing it.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning process for the company's 2026 technology roadmap, identifying key innovation drivers.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Advanced AI, Quantum Computing, Spatial Interfaces) to determine their potential impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-state concepts.
- Define architectural standards that ensure scalability and resilience for next-gen solutions.
- Present complex technical strategies to executive stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor senior engineers and architects on future trends and best practices.
- Assess risks and opportunities associated with long-term technological investments.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or product strategy.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, specifically regarding long-term (3-5 year) roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and their future trajectory.
- Strong background in system design and cloud infrastructure scalability.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
