- Develop and execute the 2026 corporate vision strategy, aligning 15+ cross-functional departments around future opportunities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, regulatory shifts, and societal trends with 3-5 year impact potential
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to prepare the organization for 4+ disruptive future states
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors with quantified ROI projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to incubate next-generation solutions
- Mentor a team of 3 futurists and analysts, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning with 3+ years in futures/foresight methodologies
- Proven experience developing long-term roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level stakeholder management
- Published thought leader in innovation or future-focused publications
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
