Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage all IT support tickets using our ticketing system (e.g., Zendesk, JIRA).
- Hardware Setup: Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Software Installation: Install, update, and patch operating systems and business applications.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic connectivity and network access issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
- User Training: Conduct basic training sessions to help users understand new technologies and software.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems; knowledge of networking concepts is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Customer Service: A customer-centric attitude with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as required.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
