Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees regarding hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to learn network protocols and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Ensure all IT equipment is properly maintained, secured, and inventory is up to date.
- Respond to help desk inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy (Windows and Mac environments) with a willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
