Responsibilities
- Strategic Visioning: Develop and execute a comprehensive 5-year roadmap focused on the 2026 technological horizon, identifying emerging trends in AI and Quantum computing.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee the research and development division, directing cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-generation technologies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis of global tech trends to forecast market shifts and competitor positioning leading up to 2026.
- Stakeholder Management: Present complex technical strategies to C-suite executives and board members, translating technical jargon into business value.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry leaders to drive innovation.
- Resource Allocation: Manage the departmental budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources for high-impact projects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic technology roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within a Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; Master’s degree (MBA or MSc) is highly preferred.
- Tech Proficiency: Deep understanding of AI architectures, Machine Learning paradigms, and emerging quantum computing protocols.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think long-term and translate visionary concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences from engineers to investors.
