Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate CNC milling and turning centers to manufacture precision parts.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to ensure strict adherence to specifications.
- Perform in-process quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain machinery cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot production issues and optimize workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the factory floor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines (Haas, Fanuc, or Mazak experience highly desirable).
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T symbols.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule including weekends and overtime.
