Responsibilities
- Design and develop the overall system architecture for autonomous vehicles, including software, hardware, and sensor integration
- Lead the definition of system requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and validate autonomous driving features and functionalities
- Perform system-level analysis, including performance, reliability, and safety assessments
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in autonomous vehicle technology and integrate best practices
- Document system architecture, design decisions, and interface specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of innovation and excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems architecture, with 3+ years in autonomous vehicles or robotics
- Strong expertise in software development and systems design, with proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS
- Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and sensor fusion technologies for autonomous driving
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects in fast-paced environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
