Responsibilities
- Design and validate redundant safety systems for autonomous vehicles using ISO 26262 standards
- Lead fault-tolerance architecture development for Level 4 autonomy scenarios
- Conduct adversarial testing and red-teaming exercises to identify edge cases
- Develop machine learning models for predictive failure detection and mitigation
- Collaborate with regulators to define next-gen safety certification frameworks
- Document safety cases and conduct FMEA analysis for critical subsystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in automotive safety systems or autonomous vehicles
- Expertise in ISO 26262 functional safety and ASPICE processes
- Proficiency in ROS, Simulink, and hardware-in-loop testing
- Strong background in sensor fusion and perception algorithms
- Experience with SOTIF (Safety of the Intended Functionality) standards
- Published research in autonomous safety or related field preferred
