Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel neural architectures for edge computing applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing ethical AI frameworks

- Publish 2-4 peer-reviewed papers annually at top-tier conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize model efficiency
- Drive innovation in explainable AI (XAI) for regulated industries
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in production ML systems with proven impact metrics
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed training frameworks
- Published research at NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR conferences
- Strong background in reinforcement learning or federated learning
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP)
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into commercial applications
- Preferred: Background in quantum computing or neuromorphic engineering
