Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for autonomous decision-making systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Develop predictive models for climate change mitigation and resource optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to create AI-optimized computing substrates
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier AI conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional innovation sprints
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published record in NeurIPS, ICML, or equivalent tier-1 conferences
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and generative models
- Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Experience scaling ML models to 100+ parameter systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
