Responsibilities
- Design and deploy generative AI models capable of predicting socio-technological trends through 2030
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Architect neural-symbolic integration systems combining deep learning with symbolic reasoning
- Pioneer quantum-enhanced machine learning algorithms for climate modeling and healthcare breakthroughs
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
- Mentor PhD researchers in emerging fields of artificial general intelligence
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on AI ethics or quantum machine learning
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and causal inference
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated success in securing federal research grants
- Experience testifying before congressional technology committees
- Portfolio of deployed systems impacting 1M+ users
- Fluency in at least one symbolic programming language (LISP, Prolog)
