Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements and societal expectations
- Conduct risk assessments for AI systems, identifying bias, privacy vulnerabilities, and ethical implications
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate ethical safeguards into AI development pipelines
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Produce thought leadership content including whitepapers, guidelines, and industry standards
- Monitor emerging AI ethics legislation and global regulatory trends to inform strategy
- Mentor junior staff and establish best practices for ethical AI deployment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, AI, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, governance, or responsible tech roles
- Deep understanding of bias mitigation techniques in machine learning systems
- Expertise in AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable guidelines
- Experience developing AI ethics policies for enterprise-scale deployments
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Published work in AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership in the field
