Responsibilities
- Design ethical governance frameworks for generative AI and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and societal impact
- Develop compliance strategies for evolving international AI regulations
- Partner with product teams to embed ethics-by-design principles
- Represent Nexus at global AI policy summits and regulatory bodies
- Produce thought leadership on responsible AI adoption
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or tech ethics roles
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OECD AI principles
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI
- Experience testifying before legislative or regulatory bodies
- Proficiency in Python for bias auditing tools
- Track record of influencing corporate AI policy
