Responsibilities
- Design ethical compliance frameworks for generative AI and autonomous decision systems
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and bias mitigation protocols across machine learning pipelines
- Develop transparency documentation for explainable AI (XAI) implementations
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Author industry standards for AI deployment in regulated sectors (healthcare, finance, autonomous vehicles)
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US federal frameworks) and adapt policies
- Create ethics training modules for technical teams deploying AI solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years in AI governance, responsible AI implementation, or ethics compliance
- Expertise in fairness metrics (Demographic Parity, Equal Opportunity) and bias detection tools
- Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, and EU AI Act guidelines
- Strong technical aptitude to audit machine learning models and data pipelines
- Experience with stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work in AI ethics, philosophy of technology, or responsible AI research
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI) preferred
