Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead interdisciplinary research on algorithmic bias mitigation and explainable AI
- Develop quantum-safe privacy-preserving techniques for sensitive data processing
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Produce white papers and policy recommendations for regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior researchers in responsible AI methodologies
- Stay current on emerging threats like deepfakes and autonomous weapon systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Expertise in fairness metrics, adversarial testing, and algorithmic transparency
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics journals (e.g., ACM FAccT, NeurIPS Ethics)
- Experience with quantum computing concepts and post-quantum cryptography
- Strong background in policy development and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into engineering requirements
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
