Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging global standards
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments for AI systems across product lines
- Design governance protocols for AI deployment in sensitive domains (healthcare, finance, autonomous systems)
- Lead cross-functional working groups on responsible AI implementation
- Create audit trails and explainability protocols for high-stakes AI decisions
- Advise leadership on regulatory compliance and ethical risk mitigation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry coalitions on AI ethics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or ethics compliance
- Expertise in NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and emerging AI regulations
- Strong technical understanding of ML systems and deployment architectures
- Experience developing bias mitigation and fairness metrics
- Certification in AI ethics or governance (e.g., IEEE Certifications)
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable guidelines
