You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, product teams, and regulatory bodies to embed ethical safeguards into our AI lifecycle while maintaining competitive advantage. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possesses deep knowledge of AI governance frameworks, and can translate complex ethical principles into actionable policies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging 2026 regulations
- Lead cross-functional working groups to assess AI systems for bias, fairness, and transparency risks
- Develop audit protocols for high-stakes AI deployments in healthcare and autonomous systems
- Represent the company in regulatory dialogues and industry consortiums shaping AI policy
- Create ethics training programs for engineering teams and product managers
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging AI governance technologies and methodologies
- Report on ethical AI metrics to executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in AI Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven expertise implementing AI governance frameworks in regulated industries (healthcare/finance preferred)
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights, etc.)
- Experience with bias detection tools and explainable AI methodologies
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, GAIC) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical ethics to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in influencing organizational policy at executive level
- Published research or thought leadership on AI ethics (GitHub/LinkedIn portfolio required)
