Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI bias and fairness in production models
- Develop regulatory compliance strategies for emerging AI legislation
- Partner with quantum computing teams to address ethical implications of hybrid AI systems
- Create transparent explainability protocols for black-box neural networks
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for public AI impact assessments
- Drive organizational education on responsible AI practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI implementation
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in machine learning and neural network architectures
- Published work on AI ethics or technology policy
- Ability to translate complex ethical concepts for technical teams
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., CEGAI, CAIG) preferred
