Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployed by 2026
- Lead stakeholder workshops with engineering, legal, and compliance teams to align on ethical AI principles
- Develop audit protocols for algorithmic bias mitigation and explainability requirements
- Represent the company in global AI policy forums and regulatory consultations
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and monitor implementation across 50+ AI products
- Train 200+ engineers on responsible AI development practices
- Partner with academic institutions to publish cutting-edge research on AI ethics
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 8+ years AI governance experience
- Proven track record of implementing AI ethics frameworks at scale (Fortune 500 preferred)
- Deep expertise in EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and emerging global AI regulations
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or explainable AI techniques
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI)
- Experience testifying before legislative bodies on AI policy matters
- Fluency in Python and ML model architecture for technical validation
