- Develop and maintain the 2026 global technology roadmap, integrating AI, IoT, and quantum computing paradigms
- Conduct horizon-scanning analysis of emerging technologies (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional working groups to align R&D priorities with market disruption timelines
- Present technology forecasts to investors and board members with data-driven risk assessments
- Establish KPIs for technology maturity benchmarks and adoption velocity
- Partner with policy teams to navigate regulatory frameworks for emerging tech deployment
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal impact of 2026 technology trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in corporate technology planning with 5+ in foresight methodologies
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging tech landscape: quantum computing, generative AI, and decentralized systems
- Proficient in scenario planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Strong data visualization skills with Tableau/Power BI for presenting complex tech futures
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APQC) or equivalent
