Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams to develop 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum-AI integration
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging tech threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and government innovation councils
- Manage $2M annual R&D portfolio for 2026-focused projects
- Author white papers on post-quantum security and ethical AI frameworks
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and DARPA initiatives
- Mentor PhD fellows in future technology ethics and implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in technology strategy at FAANG or equivalent R&D institution
- Published research on quantum computing or AI ethics (minimum 3 peer-reviewed papers)
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to commercial deployment
- Deep familiarity with emerging tech policy landscape (US/EU/Asia)
- Experience securing federal grants (SBIR, IARPA) or corporate innovation funding
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex tech ecosystems
