Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps for quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify commercialization opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on 2026 innovation milestones
- Author quarterly future-state briefs for executive board and investor relations
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their impact on product development
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of semiconductor scaling timelines and quantum computing maturity
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization within 3-5 year horizons
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or similar)
