Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and prioritize R&D investments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global research consortia
- Present future-tech insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Mentor innovation teams in adopting future-oriented methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and driving adoption
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech or business publications
