Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technology adoption across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging tech including quantum-resistant cryptography and neuro-interfaces
- Partner with product teams to commercialize futuristic solutions targeting 2026 market windows
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology deployment timelines
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations with 5-10 year commercialization horizons
- Present future-vision briefings to investors and industry consortiums
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 10+ years of R&D leadership
- Published research in top-tier journals on quantum computing or AI alignment
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies with $50M+ impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, AGI safety frameworks, or synthetic biology
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology disruption strategies
- Fluency in speculative design frameworks and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
