Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology roadmap through rigorous trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts and disruption analyses to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track technology adoption curves
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Certification in Foresight or Technology Impact Assessment preferred
