Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3.0) for commercial viability
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for disruptive technological shifts
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing product development cycles
- Monitor global tech policy trends and regulatory impacts on innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in tech strategy or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption cycles
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech innovation initiatives
