Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies impacting 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum computing, neuro interfaces)
- Design and lead innovation sprints to prototype 2026-relevant digital experiences
- Present futuristic technology insights to C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Build and maintain a global network of technology pioneers and research institutions
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to prepare organizational capabilities for 2026 tech landscape
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of technology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, spatial computing
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
