Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with corporate strategic goals
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, quantum AI) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers for collaborative innovation
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen tech applications in healthcare, energy, and mobility sectors
- Drive ethical AI and sustainable tech frameworks for future product development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $50M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
