- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-gen product development with 5-year implementation horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers and designers to prototype future solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups to capture emerging research
- Present futuristic visions to executive stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business strategy
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their implications on product development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrated impact on future-facing products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, or neurotech
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year adoption cycles
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience advising C-suite on technological transformation strategies
