You'll be immersed in cutting-edge research while maintaining a pragmatic approach to implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and space technologies
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 5-year technology foresight roadmap
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging technologies into commercial offerings
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a global network of technology thought leaders and researchers
- Author white papers and thought leadership content on future technology paradigms
- Oversee competitive intelligence and disruption monitoring systems
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of anticipating and capitalizing on technological disruptions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Portfolio published foresight work or strategic technology assessments
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and risk analysis frameworks
