Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for next-generation product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing futuristic R&D initiatives
- Build relationships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints for prototype development
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on tech evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Proven track record in anticipating tech trends (show 2020-2025 predictions)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or neurotech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
