Your work will directly influence product roadmaps, investment strategies, and market positioning in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Produce white papers and thought leadership pieces on future tech applications
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Advise executive leadership on technology investments and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain relationships with academic research centers and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurism roles
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of launching innovative tech products or services
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystems
