Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmap for quantum computing applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing neural interface prototypes
- Secure $50M+ in federal and private research grants annually
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 companies for 2026 tech integration
- Present breakthrough innovations at global forums including CES and Web Summit
- Mentor next-gen engineers through our Quantum Fellowship program
- Oversee patent portfolio development targeting 50+ new IP filings
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum computing or AI research (published in Nature/Science)
- Expertise in securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, DOE preferred)
- Experience scaling R&D teams from 10 to 100+ engineers
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ethical frameworks and governance
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Exceptional strategic planning abilities with 5+ year foresight
- Previous experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance
