Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-positive tech
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants and partnerships with DARPA/NSF
- Develop patent portfolios with 15+ filings annually in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior researchers in futures methodology and speculative design
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ in strategic leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio of launched products/services with $50M+ market impact
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging tech implications
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (STEEP, Delphi, scenario planning)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AGI, biotech, or clean energy
