Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop quantitative trend-forecasting models using AI-driven analytics and scenario planning frameworks
- Design strategic roadmaps for enterprise adaptation to exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive teams on future-state capabilities and investment priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish proprietary foresight methodologies for Horizon Dynamics' intellectual property portfolio
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate foresight, consulting, or R&D strategy
- Proven expertise in exponential technology forecasting (blockchain, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Mastery of foresight frameworks: Delphi Method, STEEP Analysis, and Cross-Impact Matrices
- Publication record in peer-reviewed futurism journals or top-tier business publications
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Python for trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year strategic foresight implementations
