Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum error correction methodologies
- Develop patent-pending quantum machine learning frameworks
- Present findings at global tech conferences (e.g., IEEE Quantum Week 2026)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DoD quantum research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing experience with IBM Q or Rigetti systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy thresholds for 2026
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
- Fluency in Python/C++ for quantum simulation development
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects (or ability to obtain)
