Responsibilities
- Architect and execute quantum-AI research roadmaps targeting 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-entangled machine learning algorithms
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants annually
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals quarterly
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners on quantum-resistant cryptography implementations
- Mentor PhD researchers and postdoctoral fellows in quantum information theory
- Drive ethical frameworks for autonomous quantum decision systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum supremacy experiments
- Proven track record leading $3M+ research programs with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error correction protocols
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum cloud platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into commercial applications
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security initiatives preferred
