Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech sectors (quantum AI, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, design, and policy teams
- Analyze global megatrends to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and international stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of implementing transformative strategies in Fortune 500 settings
- Advanced degree in Technology Policy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ tech trends (whitepapers, patents, etc.)
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation grants or strategic partnerships
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
