Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technological horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling proposals
- Establish KPIs to track innovation ROI and adoption metrics
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with business objectives
- Mentor junior talent in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging fields (quantum/AI/biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field preferred
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking abilities
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) designation
