Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate resilience systems
- Identify and vet emerging technologies with >$100M market potential through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Design innovation frameworks that align R&D investments with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and board members using scenario modeling tools
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity tracking across 50+ partner organizations
- Curate exclusive FutureWorks 2026 Summit featuring industry disruptors
- Manage $5M annual innovation portfolio with 25% allocation to moonshot projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with PhD preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 successful launches of paradigm-shifting products/services
- Deep expertise in exponential technology convergence (AI+quantum+bio)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from Singularity University)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Harvard Business Review)
- Fluency in at least two major languages with preference for Mandarin or Arabic
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, or equivalent
