Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive market forces
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for 2026+ business transformation
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze geopolitical, technological, and demographic trends
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist research team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, or climate tech domains
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Strong written/verbal communication with executive audiences
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, trend analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or strategic frameworks
