Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 industry disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and market shifts
- Develop patentable solutions in quantum AI, climate tech, or neuro-interfaces
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding and strategic partnerships
- Present findings to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering (top 10 universities)
- 7+ years in R&D or innovation strategy with 3+ in leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier
- Proven track record of scaling tech from lab to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio, AI, etc.)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio of 5+ patented innovations or commercialized products
