- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget with ROI-focused allocation methodologies
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with proven experience in R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to market leadership
