Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market launch for 2026-era technologies
- Drive strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley disruptors, academic institutions, and government labs
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget and cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for emerging technologies (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Champion agile methodologies and rapid prototyping in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation, R&D leadership, or product strategy at Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Proven track record of launching 3+ industry-disruptive products or technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business required
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, ICP) preferred
