Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch 2026-era innovations in AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Design and execute proof-of-concept projects with $1M+ annual budgets
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation roadmaps with corporate strategy
- Present findings to investors and industry stakeholders at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior researchers through our Future Leaders incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in R&D leadership with demonstrated product commercialization success
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Expertise in at least one future-tech domain: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Track record of securing $500K+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Fluency in Python and at least one quantum programming framework
